Can we meet the farm animals?
Ask the team what is suitable while you are here. Primrose is a working farm, so animal care and the day’s jobs determine what is possible. Children sometimes help collect eggs by arrangement. Read Life on the farm for the animals and the usual farming calendar.
Who looks after the cottages?
Julie manages the cottages with help from the family. Janette helps with housekeeping, while other family members work around the farm and garden. Meet the team, or contact us with a question about your stay.
Are all the bedrooms downstairs?
Valley View and Greenfields have accommodation on one floor. Stargazer has a downstairs twin bedroom and shower room, with a double bedroom and bathroom upstairs.
Is the accommodation step-free?
Do not assume this from a one-floor layout. There are steps around the outdoor areas, and access needs depend on the route and measurements involved. Contact us about your requirements and the specific cottage.
How do I find available dates?
Use the booking search to enter your dates and guest numbers. For a question about an existing reservation, contact us with the booking name and arrival date.

How many people can stay?
Each cottage sleeps four.
How are the bedrooms arranged?
Each cottage has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. Valley View and Greenfields: Accommodation on one floor. Stargazer: Two floors. The twin bedroom is downstairs and the double bedroom is upstairs.
Can we cook at the cottage?
All three cottages: A kitchen for self-catering.
Is Wi-Fi available?
All three cottages: Wi-Fi available.
What are the dog policies for the cottages?
Stargazer: Up to two dogs are welcome under the cottage rules. Greenfields: Up to two dogs are welcome under the cottage rules. Dogs must not be left alone in the cottage or allowed on beds. Clear up after them and keep them on a lead around livestock.
Can guests use the fishing lake?
The carp lake is reserved for guests. Use of the lake is free during your stay. Use barbless hooks and return fish to the water. Vehicles must not be driven down to the lake.
