If you are bringing dogs, Stargazer and Greenfields welcome up to two under the cottage rules. See the comparison and room photographs to choose the arrangement you prefer.

A walk and a meal out

Combe Wood offers a short woodland outing near Honiton. For a meal that is the main event, THE PIG-at Combe in Gittisham has a restaurant with a kitchen-garden focus. Book directly with the venue.

Art is another option: the Thelma Hulbert Gallery has changing exhibitions in Honiton. Our local guides include coastal days and other places to eat.

Honeymoons and mini-moons

For a honeymoon built around countryside outings and time in your own cottage, use the same room comparison to make the choice. A separate twin bedroom gives you additional space, and self-catering means you can combine meals in with a restaurant reservation.

If you have a specific arrangement in mind for the occasion, ask Julie and the team about it before making plans. Search the booking site for the dates offered.

Leave some time for the view

The decking looks over the Otter Valley, so a day here need not start with a drive somewhere else. Have breakfast in your own cottage and decide what comes next. The farm continues around you, with the animals and seasonal jobs forming part of the place you are staying.

Our family introductions and farm photographs give you a closer look before you arrive.
