Diggerland Devon
View full photoSome children watch every digger at a building site. Diggerland Devon turns that fascination into a day out, with opportunities to ride on or operate construction machinery under the park’s rules. Its Devon park is at Verbeer Manor near Cullompton, making it an option during a stay at Primrose Cottages.
What can your child try?
The experience differs from a conventional fairground because construction equipment is the attraction. Height restrictions determine which activities children can use and where an accompanying adult is required. The park recommends the experience particularly for children aged four and above, but age alone does not establish access to a ride.
Measure younger children before comparing Diggerland’s attraction guidance. Very small children have a more limited choice. The park has places to eat and picnic, so you can decide whether to bring lunch from your cottage.
Planning with a dog
Pet dogs cannot enter Diggerland, and the operator does not permit leaving them in cars. Dogs must not be left alone at Primrose Cottages either. One adult could stay at the accommodation with the dog while others visit. If you want an outing together, consider the Donkey Sanctuary, where dogs on leads are welcome.
